10-0 victory in the municipal elections against the students: Vucic

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 30 - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić declared a 10-0 victory in yesterday's vote in ten municipalities across the country, citing it as an important test. For the first time, he faced the student protest movement, which has been a thorn in his side for a year and a half but has produced positive results. After a month-long election campaign marked by tension, student complaints of irregularities, and relentless propaganda from pro-government media, Vučić declared his opposition to the movement. Vučić expressed satisfaction after personally visiting all ten municipalities where 247,000 voters voted, despite media reports of widespread violence and intimidation on election day. (ANSA).
