(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 24 - Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto has admitted to maintaining regular contact with Moscow, even during EU meetings, confirming reports in the Washington Post. According to Euronews, Szijjarto defended his position on Monday evening at an election event in Keszthely, claiming that EU decisions on energy, industry, and security have a direct impact on relations with external partners such as Russia. "We need to discuss these issues with our partners outside the EU," he said. "I am speaking not only with the Russian Foreign Minister, but also with American, Turkish, Israeli, and Serbian partners, before and after the Council meetings," the Hungarian FM explained. (ANSA).
