Kosovo's Constitutional Court suspends parliamentary dissolution

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 10 - Kosovo will not necessarily hold elections next month: the Constitutional Court in Pristina has imposed a temporary measure suspending, until March 31, the date by which a final ruling will be issued, President Vjosa Osmani's decree dissolving the National Assembly. The decree was issued on March 6 because Parliament failed to meet the constitutionally mandated deadlines for electing a new head of state. The Court has upheld the appeal against the president's decree filed by Prime Minister Albin Kurti's party, the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV). (ANSA).
