(ANSA) - TRIESTE, MAR 10 - Fuel prices will rise slightly in Slovenia on Tuesday. However, the increase, driven by rising global oil prices, will be minimal due to the reduction in excise duties. The price of regular petrol will rise by 3 cents to EUR 1.466 per litre, diesel by 6.3 cents to EUR 1.528, and heating oil by 8.8 cents to EUR 1.159 per litre, as the government attempts to mitigate the impact of the price increases by lowering excise duties, according to Slovenian news agency STA. Even after Tuesday's increase, fuel prices in Slovenia will remain lower than in neighbouring countries, STA noted. Slovenia's fuel prices are regulated by the state every two weeks using a formula that takes into account global oil prices and the euro-US dollar exchange rate. (ANSA).
