Confindustria Upper Adriatic at Krsko nuclear power plant

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JAN 19 - A delegation from Confindustria Alto Adriatico visited the Krško (Slovenia) nuclear power plant today, organized by the Association's Energy Consortium with the Regional Economic Union of Slovenia. "The initiative," said CAA President Michelangelo Agrusti, "is part of a broader project we have launched to encourage the integration of companies in the area into highly complex supply chains through qualification and certification paths consistent with the standards required by large industrial operators. An approach that has already been tested in strategic areas with groups such as Leonardo and Fincantieri Group, now extended to the energy sector." Today's visit will be followed at the end of March by a meeting to further explore mutual opportunities with companies and institutions, including in light of possible participation in the expansion project and, consequently, stable energy supplies that are not affected by the turbulence generated by ongoing geopolitical tensions.
