Zelensky says foreign troops in Ukraine are necessary part of security guarantees

(ANSA-AFP) - KYIV, 29 DIC - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday he considered the presence of foreign troops in Ukraine to be a necessary part of security guarantees for Kyiv as part of any deal to end the war with Russia. "I believe that the presence of international troops is a real security guarantee, it is a strengthening of the security guarantees that our partners are already offering us," Zelensky told reporters.
