In Slovenia, irregular migrant entries are down by 40%

(ANSA) - TRIESTE, DEC 18 - In the first eleven months of the year, Slovenian police recorded only 25,580 cases of irregular border crossings, more than 40% fewer than the previous year, according to the Slovenian news agency STA. Since 2023, the annual figure has been steadily declining, according to STA. This year, the majority of irregular migrants identified in Slovenia came from Afghanistan, Egypt, and Bangladesh.
