(ANSA) - SARAJEVO, 10 OTT - Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold local elections on Oct. 20 in the municipalities most severely affected by floods in recent days, and in which local voting held in the Balkan country on Oct. 6 had been postponed. The electoral commission's decision concerns the municipalities of Jablanica, Fojnica, Kiseljak, Konjic and Kresevo, all located in the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. As rescue operations and restoration of main services and road and rail links continue, the death toll has been updated to 23, with three more people still missing. Material damage was extensive, with dozens of houses and buildings destroyed, bridges knocked down by landslides and mudslides, and productive activities swept away by high water, which submerged large areas of cultivated fields.
