Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA): programmes addressed to universities, researchers, students

In the framework of the CEI’s contribution to scientific cooperation / education & training, the CEI-Executive Secretariat is glad to inform that the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA)  - established in 2017 to coordinate state activities driving the process of internationalisation of Polish academic and research institutions and, thus, to foster the development of Poland in the area of science and higher education - is developing various programmes to:

  • support international mobility of students, academics and researchers;
  • support the process of internationalisation of Polish HEIs and research institutions;
  • promote Polish science and higher education;
  • promote and popularise teaching of the Polish language.

We encourage all relevant institutions/individuals from all CEI Member States to become acquainted with the constantly enriched NAWA programmes addressed to universities, researchers and students, and in particular to take advantage of the activities, addressed both to individual scientists (incoming programmes at Polish institutions as well as outbound programmes offering fellowships at foreign units), as well as offering opportunities of more extensive cooperation between both countries’ HEIs and research units.
