Thanks to the CEI’s observer status at the Council of Europe Youth Department, the CEI - Executive Secretariat represented by Deputy Secretary General Zsuzsanna Király was granted the opportunity to actively participate in the three-day workshop.
The international training seminar in Budapest on 9 - 11 June 2026, was organised by the Council of Europe, in close cooperation with the International Co-operation and European Integration Department, and was hosted at the European Youth Centre Budapest (EYCB).
The seminar served as a crucial platform for institutional leaders, youth sector professionals, clinical psychologists, and international humanitarian experts. The primary objectives of the event were to advance trauma-informed youth work methodologies, address the mental health crisis caused by armed conflict, and coordinate institutional actions in support of Ukraine, its children, and its veterans.
During the workshop, DSG Király spoke about the activities of the CEI and established connections with relevant youth organisations.
