Thanks to the CEI’s Observer status within the Council of Europe’s intergovernmental committees on youth, namely the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ) and Joint Council on Youth (CMJ) the CEI represented by DSG Szuszanna Kiraly, participated in the meetings of the aforementioned CoE youth statutory bodies in Strasbourg on 17-19 November 2025.
The committees meet twice a year, in Strasbourg and Budapest respectively, and address relevant issues for the youth sector. The meetings provided discussions of issues, such as the election of the Chair and Vice-Chair of the CDEJ for 2026 and Youth Policy Assistance to member states in 2025, etc.
The meetings also provided a structured overview and a detailed update on the most relevant activities and processes.
