The 33rd edition of the Trieste Film Festival, the leading European festival focused on Central and Eastern European cinema, is taking place in Trieste on 21-27 January 2022.
The programme will include films, meetings with festival guests, masterclasses, art and photo exhibitions, a VR programme, performances, concerts, special events, book presentations, programmes for kids.
The CEI – through its Cooperation Fund - has supported the Festival over the years. A special CEI Award is also granted to the film that best represents the contemporary world and the dialogue among cultures.
An online version of the Festival will be available for the Italian audience from 26 to 30 January 2022 through the MyMovies platform.
In the context of the Festival, CEI support is also given to the international co-production forum When East Meets West bringing together film professionals from all over Europe.
