(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 18 - The German IMK institute is lowering its growth forecast for the German economy in 2027 as a result of the war in Iran. According to estimates published by the Institute for Macroeconomics and Business Research (IMK), GDP is expected to grow by 0.9 percent, down from 1.6 percent in March. The Duesseldorf economists have revised their current-year forecast downward from 0.9 percent to 0.6 percent. They anticipate that future peace negotiations between the United States and Iran will face setbacks, and that uncertainty about the agreement process will drive up oil prices even further. (ANSA).
