(ANSA) - TRIESTE, JUN 16 - Matiaz Longar, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, is stepping down from his post in Rome. His tenure in Italy, which began in September 2022, will come to an end at the end of next July. On Thursday, June 18, the reception marking Slovenia's National Day, to be held at the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Rome, will also serve as the occasion for Longar's official farewell. Among the guests of honor will be Senator Tatjana Rojc, who will deliver a "welcome address." (ANSA).
