Crude oil arriving from Croatia for Hungary and Slovakia: EU

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 25 - "Croatia has confirmed that the Adria pipeline transports non-Russian crude oil to Hungary and Slovakia. Additional shipments of non-Russian oil have arrived at the Croatian oil terminal. This will ensure the security of supply in Hungary and Slovakia." This was stated by an EU Commission spokesperson during a press briefing following the Oil Coordination Group meeting held this morning to discuss the disruption of Russian crude oil supplies from the Druzhba pipeline, which was damaged by the bombing. "At this stage, there is no immediate risk to the security of EU supply: both Hungary and Slovakia have oil reserves," the spokesperson stated, adding that the EU Commission "will continue to monitor the security and supply situation."
