Slovakia to halt emergency electricity supplies to Kyiv: Fico

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 23 - Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico has announced that emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine will be halted from Slovakia. Fico stated on Facebook, as reported by the Guardian, that the initiative will be cancelled once Ukraine resumes oil transit to Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline. Despite reports of war-related damage, Fico insisted that the pipeline remained operational and deemed Ukraine's refusal to transport oil unacceptable. (ANSA).
