
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 10 - The organization's leaders and member state consuls met today at the Central European Initiative's Executive Secretariat in Trieste. Among the topics discussed was a conference commemorating the CEI Executive Secretariat's 30th anniversary, which will be held in Trieste on March 17, 2026. The event will be attended by Antonio Tajani, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Oana Toiu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, which holds the CEI Presidency this year. Foreign Ministers from the other CEI member states will also be in attendance. CEI Secretary General Franco Dal Mas, Deputy Secretaries General Zsuzsanna Király, Ivana Pejović, and Yurii Mushka, as well as accredited Consuls of CEI member countries Vadim Zmeu (Moldova), Nemanja Sekić (Serbia), Adina Lovin (Romania), Paolo Petiziol (Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic), and Gregor Šuc (Slovenia), attended the meeting in Trieste. Dal Mas stated that the Executive Secretariat's 30th anniversary marks an important milestone in CEI's history and demonstrates Trieste's role as a city of dialogue and international recognition.
