Slovenia may join South Africa's genocide case against Israel

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, JAN 21 - Slovenia is "working very seriously" on joining South Africa's genocide case against Israel before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon said this week, following media reports that the government will discuss the matter this week, according to STA. Fajon confirmed that her ministry had drawn up a proposal to join, but said several more steps would need to be agreed upon first. She said the final decision would be made by the government. New developments are expected before the beginning of the electoral campaign for the March 22 elections, according to media reports. (ANSA).
