Poland took off its jets last night

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 20 - Poland scrambled its jets overnight amid ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine. "Due to the activity of the Russian Federation's long-range aviation, which is conducting attacks on Ukrainian territory, Polish and allied air forces have begun operating in our airspace," the country's armed forces said in a statement. Sky News UK reported. Poland explained that this was done to ensure "maximum readiness" and security in neighboring areas. Around 7 a.m., the country's armed forces declared their operations ended.
