According to media reports, protesters gathered in front of the old station before marching to the new train station to denounce the alleged structural dangers posed by this modern complex. Several downtown Belgrade streets were closed to traffic for several hours, causing significant traffic delays. After a rally on the university campus, students marched to the train station where the November disaster occurred, lighting candles and placing flowers in memory of the victims. Protests were also held in front of local train stations in Nis, Kragujevac, Cacak, and other cities. (ANSA).
