EU emergency preparedness plan, stocks for 72 hours

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAR 26 - The EU Commission and High Representative Kaja Kallas have launched a 'EU Preparedness Strategy' to assist member states and strengthen Europe's ability to prevent and respond to emerging threats such as geopolitical tensions and conflicts, hybrid threats and cybersecurity, manipulation and interference with foreign information, climate change, and natural disasters. The strategy encourages people to prepare "essential stocks for a minimum of 72 hours in case of emergency" and proposes establishing an EU crisis hub to "improve integration between existing EU crisis structures."
