From 8 to 10 November the CEI-Executive Secretariat represented the SUSTOURISMO (Sustainable Tourism and Mobility Hand by Hand Development) and MIMOSA (Maritime and Multimodal Sustainable Passenger transport solutions and services) projects at the ECOMONDO Green Technology Expo organised by the Italian Exhibition Group in Rimini.
ECOMONDO is a key in-person event in Europe and an international show for technological and industrial innovation in the green and circular economy sector, bringing on a single platform all the sectors that support ecological transition. Last year, it was attended by ore than 69,500 persons and over 1400 companies and organisations were represented.
In this context, SUSTOURISMO and MIMOSA were presented as an example of successful European cooperation on green mobility and environmental sustainability. The event was an opportunity to disseminate the objectives of both projects and the results to a wide audience from the business, academy and institutional sectors, as well as create interconnections with other players of the post-pandemic ecological transition.
