ITHACA: Regional stakeholders workshop held in Trieste

The 1st Regional Stakeholders Workshop of the FVG Region within the EU Project ITHACA (InnovaTion in Health And Care for All) was organised in Trieste on 10 July and was attended by representatives of various health-related institutions.

Ketty Segatty, Head of the Education, Training and Research Department of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and Senior Expert Gian Matteo Apuzzo, presented the ITHACA project to the stakeholders. They introduced the self-assessment tool, one of the main instruments of the project designed to assess the existent regional ecosystems on smart health and care and, ultimately, to measure regional development.

During the gathering, the participants showed their interest in taking part in the project underlining its potential benefits. They had the chance to share views and make interesting suggestions such as the possibility of involving third sector organisations in the project, as well as a number of potential benefits stakeholders from health-related companies through the existing clusters. This event is the first of series of regional meetings envisaged to take place during the 5-year project.
