The CNC Meeting held after the Steering Committee Meeting on 11 April 2014 in London, focused on the forthcoming activities and events taking place under the Austrian CEI Presidency. Particular attention was paid to the preparations of the Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs on 3 June 2014 in Vienna, back to back with a Western Balkans Conference in the 1914-2014 context, commemorating the anniversary of the outbreak of World War I. Under the motto of the Presidency CEI as Bridge between European (Macro-) Regions / Synergies with International Organisations, the Ministers will discuss the follow-up of the Presidencies’ priorities and the results achieved so far as well as the situation in the region. At the end of the meeting the Ministers will adopt a Communiqué.
Macedonia informed the participants that it would officially take over the CEI Presidency in 2015.
