BSW2018 is a resumption of a series of Workshops and Schools initiated by the BW2003 Workshop. The events are taking place in Nis, Serbia on 3-14 June.

The School entitled “High Energy and Particle Physics: Theory and Phenomenology” – BS2018  (3-10 June 2018) represents a continuation of the previous 4 schools of the first cycle of the running CERN – SEENET-MTP Programme for PhD students and young scientists.

BS2018 will complete the first cycle of the Programme. The event will be attended by PhD students in High Energy Physics and Cosmology. The lectures will be complemented by exercise sessions and discussions.

The scientific part of the Workshop entitled “Field Theory and the Early Universe” (10-14 June, 2018) will include recent developments in Beyond the Standard Cosmological Model(s) (BSCM). This will be an excellent opportunity to gather leading experts in physics, as well as young researchers from South-East, Central and Eastern Europe, the EU and the USA, to discuss open problems and perspectives in the main scientific areas of the Workshop.

The roundtable discussion will focus on actions promoting and strengthening research, education and capacity-building in physics in natural sciences, paying special attention to South Eastern Europe, in a European and worldwide framework.

This event is co-funded by the CEI Cooperation Fund.
