The International School of Local Democracy: Western Balkans Edition will bring together around 20 young professionals, local government representatives, civil society actors, and academics from the Western Balkans, CEI Member States, and other EU countries for a three-day programme.
Through expert lectures, interactive workshops, and peer exchange, participants will explore the foundations of local democracy, the role of cross-border cooperation in the EU accession process, and the impact of brain drain on local development. The school aims to strengthen democratic governance, foster regional cooperation, and equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and networks to promote more inclusive and participatory local communities across the Western Balkans.
