Workshop on how to mitigate agricultural drought impact in CEI region (AgriDro)

Start date
End date
Location
Novi Sad (Serbia)

The AgriDro workshop in Novi Sad on 22 November - envisaged to gather more than 20 participants from 12 CEI countries - aims at increasing the capacity and adaptation of specialists in the CEI region to the negative (drought) impact of climatic variability on agricultural production in the mid and lower Danube basin and at preventing water shortages.

The lectures will mainly focus on capacity building to gain knowledge on methods for analysing durations and times of drought during vegetation season.

This event - co-financed under the CEI Cooperation Fund - is a follow-up of the CEI Workshop held in 2017 on the water footprint and virtual water trade concept.
