The international Conference Equal Pay Day, organised by the Business and Professional Women-BPW Czech Republic, is a major event attracting hundreds of participants from various sectors and providing the opportunity to share good practices on women’s entrepreneurship and equal opportunities in society, profession, and family.
Under the theme “Potential”, this year’s event will bring together experts, leaders, and the public to discuss innovations and ways to fully harness the potential of both women and men for economic transformation. As traditionally, the format will include a plenary session and several mentoring panels in line with the idea of promoting the UN Women's Empowerment Principles, especially the promotion of "role models".
Thanks to the CEI support, some professional women from the CEI region, especially from non-EU countries, will have the opportunity to get involved in the conference and experience its mentoring and networking opportunities, but also carry out follow-up activities, such as the one promoted in 2024 in support of the Ukrainian women which resulted in the “Call to action: Integrating Ukrainian women into the workforce and society ”, a kind of awareness raising campaign which was widely circulated.
