EU project ACROSSEE: final conference in Vienna

About 60 participants took part in the ACROSSEE Final Conference on 5 December in Vienna, organised by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology, in cooperation with the CEI, Project Lead Partner.

ACROSSEE Project: Workshop at EU Parliament on streamlining transport connections in Western Balkans

On 11 November 2014, a workshop in the framework of the ACROSSEE project was organised at the EU Parliament.

The event - under the title Streamlining transport connections in the Western Balkans (Removing bottlenecks, improving regional cohesion) - was organised by the Central European Initiative, Project Lead Partner, with the aim to present the ACROSSEE main results in view of improving transport connections in South East Europe.

ACROSSEE Project: 3rd project meeting and steering committee meeting held in Igoumenitsa

The Regional Unit of Thesprotia’s Council Chamber hosted on 4-5 June, 2014 in Igoumenitsa, Greece, the 3rd project meeting and steering committee of the project ACROSSEE - Accessibility improved at border CROSsings for the integration of South East Europe. The steering committee of the project, the second-last preceding the project’s final conference, which will take place in Vienna at the end of the year, had the major intent of sustaining the set of project goals.

CEI participates in MED-SEE Joint Communication Training

Around 100 representatives from more than 60 projects participated in the Joint Communication Training coorganised by the South East Europe (SEE) and Mediterranean Transnational Programmes (MED) on 2-3 June in Bled (Slovenia). The CEI was represented by two staff members, from the ACROSSEE (SEE) and WIDER (MED) projects respectively.

EU-funded project ACROSSEE presented at European Parliament. A technical meeting held at CEI HQ

The ACROSSEE Project aims at establishing a large and coherent platform that will contribute to rationalising and optimising the existing transport network in South-East Europe (SEE). It is promoted by the CEI through its Secretariat as Lead Partner, in cooperation with 24 partner institutions from 13 countries and co-financed by the SEE transnational programme.
