Industrial production up by 0.1% in euro area

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 12 - In March, the industrial production rose by 0.1% in the euro area and by 0.6% in the EU, compared with February 2021, said Eurostat today. According to the statistical office of the European Union, in February 2021 the industrial production fell by 1.2% in the euro area and by 1.0% in the EU, while in March 2021, compared with March 2020, the production increased by 10.9% in the euro area and by 11.0% in the EU. Among Member States for which data are available, the highest increases were registered in Denmark (+4.9%), Lithuania (+4.5%) and Bulgaria (+3.7%), Eurostat informed. (ANSA).
