Coronavirus: 344 cases in New Europe area, no deaths

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 06 MAR - A total of 344 confirmed cases of coronavirus (+91 day-on-day) and no deaths were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as of March 5, according to official data of national authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). Cases of COVID-19 were registered in Germany (262, +66 in the last 24 hours), Austria (37, +13), Croatia (9), Greece (9, +2), Belarus (6, +5), Czech Republic (5), Romania (4), Bosnia and Herzegovina (2, +2), Estonia (2), Hungary (2, +2), Latvia (1), Lithuania (1), North Macedonia (1), Poland (1), Slovenia (1, +1) and Ukraine (1). Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary and Slovenia reported the first cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. No confirmed cases were counted by WHO in Albania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovakia as of March 5, 2020. (ANSA).
