Ifo raises German GDP forecasts to 1.4% in 2026

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 3 - The Ifo Institute has raised its forecasts for the German economy. Economists now expect GDP to grow by 1.4% this year, 0.6 percentage points higher than previously estimated. "Positive signs are emerging, especially in the industrial sector, which has been heavily impacted by the crisis," the document states. According to estimates, the German economy could grow by 1.2% next year, exceeding expectations. (ANSA).
