(ANSA) - UDINE, 21 LUG - International dance takes center stage tonight at Mittelfest in Cividale del Friuli, with the Italian premiere of Josef Nadj's Dialogues in the Dream. The festival, dedicated to the theme of fear and running through July 26, is directed by Giacomo Pedini. At the Teatro Ristori, Franco-Hungarian choreographer Josef Nadj will present the Italian premiere of Dialogues in the Dream with Ivan Fatjo. The production combines dance, music and performance, featuring music by John Cage and references to the writings of Zen master Musō and Hungarian poet Dezső Tandori. The evening will also feature the Italian premiere of Façade. An Entertainment in Music, performed by an ensemble from Udine's Tomadini Conservatory, with music by British composer William Walton and texts by Edith Sitwell. Mittelounge also returns to the Orto delle Orsoline with Italian bands Painkillers and The Nuv. Tomorrow, the Adelaide Ristori Prize will be awarded to actress Lucia Limonta for her performance in Argo, staged at Mittelfest 2025 under the direction of Serena Sinigaglia. Tomorrow's program also includes the Croatian theater production Son, Mother and Father Sit at the Table in Silence, written by Ivor Martinić and directed by Aleksandar Švabić, as well as the Italian premiere of Prikezhia by Romano Drom, a Hungarian world music group. Tomorrow's Mittelounge lineup will feature the Italian acts I'm In and Gushi e Raffunk with Mirko Cisilino. (ANSA).
