Pasolini's voice resonates at Casa Colussi, where his poetry was born

(ANSA) - CASARSA DELLA DELIZIA, JULY 13 - The voice of Pier Paolo Pasolini is once again resonating in the house where his poetic universe was born. A new immersive room opens today at Casa Colussi, the writer's maternal home in Casarsa della Delizia, in the province of Pordenone, and the headquarters of the Pier Paolo Pasolini Study Center. The digital space transforms the visit into an emotional experience, bringing images, sounds, photographs, film footage and archival documents into dialogue with the author's words. It restores a vivid sense of his presence in the very places where his sensibility, his poetry and his view of the world—one that would leave a lasting mark on the 20th century—first took shape. The room is designed to immerse visitors in Pasolini's universe through a large high-definition LED screen and a narrative created with audiovisual material from the archives of the Study Center and Cinemazero. At its heart are Pasolini the poet, filmmaker, novelist, and intellectual, but also Pasolini the man, with his unmistakable voice, his emotions, and his distinctive way of questioning the present. The idea is to make a house once inhabited by Pasolini and his family resonate again, filling its rooms with a presence made of words, images and memory. Technology thus becomes a tool for deepening the encounter with his work and with the places that shaped his early life and education. The immersive room was created as part of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia European project 4P - Cross-Border Routes Discovering Pier Paolo Pasolini, which is devoted to promoting the places associated with Pasolini across Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia. The experience is available in Italian, Slovenian, and English. Following the opening, the project will continue with the launch of a web app dedicated to cross-border Pasolini itineraries. (ANSA).
