
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, MAY 7 - "Italy and Hungary share similar positions on many issues, including the fight against illegal immigration, the EU accession of Western Balkan countries, and strengthening member states' competitiveness," Hungarian Prime Minister-elect Peter Magyar wrote on Instagram after meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at Palazzo Chigi. "I invited the Prime Minister to visit Hungary, and we agreed to support the efforts of Italian and Hungarian investors, as well as the completion of Hungary's port of Trieste. Long live the friendship between Italy and Hungary," Magyar concluded. (ANSA).
