Tino Chrupalla, party leader, told journalists in Berlin that the US government's decision must be acknowledged. Chrupalla said that being able to defend itself is crucial for Germany and Europe. "I think we need to work on this now. Otherwise, we can certainly welcome this troop withdrawal."
