Shipwreck off Turkey, 14 migrants dead

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 24 - Fourteen migrants were killed when their boat capsized off the coast of Bodrum, a Turkish town in the Aegean Sea near the Greek island of Kos. According to local media, the Ankara Coast Guard rescued two migrants from a boat that capsized shortly after leaving Turkey's coast. The Coast Guard was notified when one of the migrants, an Afghan national, managed to swim to shore and alerted authorities. (ANSA).
