German companies increasingly targeted by attacks, sabotage

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, SEP 18 - Attacks and sabotage against German companies are on the rise, with links to Russia and China. This is according to a study presented today by the Bitkom organisation, which was also attended by Sinan Selen, Vice President of the Federal Office for Constitutional Protection (BfV). The number of attacks is growing; 87% of businesses report computer data theft, industrial espionage, or sabotage. Last year, the figure was 81 percent. (ANSA).
