Poland, from 7 temporary border controls with Germany

(ANSA) - VARSAVIA, JUL 1 - Poland has announced that from July 7 it will impose temporary border controls with Germany and Lithuania to block the crossing of irregular migrants, a sensitive issue in relations with Berlin. "We believe that the temporary reintroduction of controls at the Polish-German border is necessary to limit and minimize uncontrolled flows ... of migrants," Prime Minister Donald Tusk said during a cabinet meeting, adding that there will be similar controls at the border with Lithuania."
