
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 18 - Germany's construction sector is experiencing a new slowdown: compared to 2023, the number of building permits has decreased by 43,700 units, to 215,900 overall, the lowest level since 2010, according to the Federal Statistical Office. This is a more than sixteen percent decrease, and it is the third consecutive year that Germany's permit count has decreased. The office reports that the decline is greater for new constructions, with 41,500 fewer permits than in 2023, representing a drop of nearly 20%. (ANSA).
