Fire in restaurant in Czech Republic, 6 dead

(ANSA-AFP) - PRAGUE, JAN 12 - A fire broke out last night in a restaurant in Most, Czech Republic, killing at least six people and injuring eight, six of them in serious condition, emergency services reported today. "The fire spread very quickly after a gas stove was probably knocked over," local firefighters wrote on X. The restaurant is located in an apartment complex in the town of Most, about 70 kilometers northwest of the capital Prague. Interior Minister Vit Rakusan said firefighters evacuated about 30 people from the premises and a nearby apartment building. (ANSA-AFP).
