Serbia, parliament rejects proposal to ban lithium mining

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, OCT 10 - The Serbian parliament today rejected an opposition proposal to amend mining legislation and prohibit the exploitation of the country's lithium mine. After a four-day debate in the chamber, 128 of the 214 deputies present expressed opposition to the proposal, 84 voted in favour, no one abstained, and two deputies did not vote. (ANSA).
