LINK-AGE

LINKING REGIONS FOR INNOVATIVE AND INTEGRATED SENIOR CARE IN CENTRAL EUROPE

Project status
Ongoing

LINK-AGE project is co-financed by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, aiming at ensuring coordinated, innovation-driven senior care in Central Europe, where ageing populations, fragmented governance and workforce shortages hinder quality and equity of service provision. Despite numerous EU and national initiatives, innovative models rarely scale beyond territories due to incompatibility among systems, lack of shared standards and weak cross-border cooperation. Through LINK-AGE partners intend to reduce this fragmentation by creating a coherent transnational framework that strengthens innovation capacity and governance.

Several innovative solutions tested through four past Interreg will be adapted and transferred in new regional settings. Their lessons will help authorities and care providers improve regional services, build lasting cooperation and spread successful models more widely, easing pressure from staff shortages and ageing populations.

Based on its experience with the PROCAREFUL Network of cooperating organisations related to the hybrid care model the CEI-ES will further capitalize and transfer project experience and knowledge to external actors and relevant policy makers. It will contribute in building CE innovation framework for senior care and contribute in increasing awareness and projects.
