Gender equality has been a CEI core value since its establishment more than three decades ago, as well as an overarching goal of all regional cooperation initiatives promoted by our Organisation.
During the last quarter of 2021, the CEI-Executive Secretariat (CEI-ES) has worked on the elaboration of a Gender Equality Plan (GEP) to define a clear roadmap for the upcoming two-year period. It will enable us to promote gender equality, both within our constituency and in the context of the various CEI structures, starting from the Executive Secretariat – and thus help us strengthen our impact on gender responsive regional cooperation.
