1st EDITS Project Management Team Meeting

As the EDITS project has a rather vast partnership, in order to ensure the successful implementation of its activities the Project Management Team was established, consisting of partners responsible for the main activities and their outputs. This ensures that the contribution of one activity provides the correct and needed inputs to the following activity.

As the project was launched in October, partners started organising their public procurement procedures for the selection of experts and external operators to get their activities started and implemented. Mainly this concerns the initial analysis of existing databases and their management, as well as  the understanding of the current situation in the participating countries.

For this purpose Project Management Team met in Vienna on December 19th 2012 and discussed on administrative issues and management, communication and dissemination of all project activities and outputs. Partners discussed on synergies with other EU funded projects, external events and occasions for project advertising. Most of the discussion was however dedicated to the technical part of the state of the art survey that will represent the very basis of the entire project.
