The main objective of the project is to promote the transfer of best practices and new technologies in the prevention and protection from natural and environmental risks through an exchange between the Italian civil protection and Moldovan institutions.
The risks tackled by the project are floods, landslides, earthquakes, and forest fires.
The study visit will include meetings with the Italian National Civil Protection, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as well as with the Umbria Region Civil Protection Centre. The expert workshop will focus on geotechnical aspects of rainfall and seismic landslides.
