Pandemic fatigue – reinvigorating the public to prevent COVID-19 is the topic of the upcoming CEI-WHO Task Force meeting which is converging on 25 November at 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. CET. As a response of the pandemic fatigue experienced by citizens across the region, the Regional Office produced a framework with policy considerations to counter fatigue, reinvigorate public support and maintain protection behaviours. The upcoming webinar will thus focus on describing pandemic fatigue, how it manifests, and why it occurs; present a WHO framework and considerations on reinvigorating public support; share lessons learned between countries, as well as best practices.
