The IDEA Project aims at creating a favourable environment to attract foreign investments and support SME sector development in the whole CEI Region. To this end, the Project envisages the development of an Interactive System on Business Support Organizations (BSOs) operating in CEI Member States, by promoting the services they supply to local/foreign SMEs as well as by improving the accessibility to enterprises on SME development programmes/projects. The CEI contribution is realised by involving the CEI Working Group on SMEs with the purpose of appointing and co-ordinating ad hoc National Focal Points. Moreover, the CEI is involved in the on-line and off-line promotion of portal throughout the CEI Region.
