Migrants: 8 EU countries committed to welcoming minors

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, APRIL 6 - Eight EU member states have so far indicated their willingness to welcome 1,600 unaccompanied minors from refugee camps in Greece. These countries are Finland, France, Germany, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Ireland, and Croatia. The EU Commission is working on the relocation scheme, slowed down by the coronavirus pandemic, and is committed to extending the group of participating countries. (ANSA).
