Coronavirus: 50814 cases in New Europe area, 332 deaths

(ANSA) - BELGRADE, 27 MAR - A total of 50814 confirmed cases of coronavirus (+6719 day-on-day), 36508 in Germany only, and 332 deaths (+72) were registered in countries in Central- and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and Greece as March 26, according to official data of national authorities collected by the World Health Organization (WHO). Most of cases of COVID-19 in the area were registered in Germany (36508, +4954 in the last 24 hours, 198 deaths), followed by Austria (5888, +606), Czech Republic (1654, +260), Poland (1051, +150), Romania (906, +144), Greece (821, +78), Slovenia (528, +48), Croatia (418, +36), Estonia (404, +35), Serbia (384, +81), Lithuania (274, +65), Hungary (261, +35), Bulgaria (242, +22), Latvia (221, +24), Slovakia (216, +12), North Macedonia (177, +29), Albania (174, +28), Bosnia-Herzegovina (173, +9), Ukraine (156, +43), Moldova (149, +24), Belarus (86, +5), Kosovo (71, +8), Montenegro (52, +23). In Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania and in the Western Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Albania) 3125 confirmed cases were registered until March 26. Austria has registered 661 cases of COVID-19 per million inhabitants, followed by Germany (439), Estonia (304), Slovenia (255) and Czechia (155). (ANSA).
